Gay Jan-3-17

Larry and Denise picked us
up at 10:00 am and headed for the flea market. We checked on the strawberries
and bought a half flat to split with Larry and Denise. The main reason I wanted
to go was to get my knife sharped but the guy that does it wasn’t there today.
I also bought a few Philips head bits for my impact driver. I think it was
around 11:30 pm when we got home. After Larry and Denise left Cheri and I made
a trip to the bank and to Publix’s for groceries. While Cheri was getting the
groceries I walked over to Staples to get some graft paper. I wanted to draw up
the wall design for that I will be building for Darren and Brooke. We had a
late lunch when we got home. Cheri said that she wasn’t in the mood for any
work in the sewing room so she took it easy the rest of the day. I did get the
wall design drawn up. By the time I got that done it was too late to do
anything else which was ok as I was ready to join Cheri in the recliner. We
watched a movie but in my case it was only half a movie because I fell asleep.
We had leftover barbeque bean soup and fresh strawberry shortcake for supper.
It has been a long time since we have had strawberry shortcake, sure was good.
Late this afternoon we had a rain shower and again during the night and I checked
and received just over half an inch. It is so dry here and everything has
turned brown. I remember it being so dry like it has been this fall and winter.
