After my walk and Cheri’s exercise
it was time for breakfast and coffee. Cheri was busy doing laundry and I was
getting ready to pick up Grandma and take her for her doctor’s appointment. I
dropped Grandma off at the door and then went and parked the car. When I got to
the waiting room Grandma was the only one waiting and thought we would get
right in to see the doctor. But the reason that there was no one in the waiting
room was because the doctor was gone on an emergency. They said that they had
tried to call and didn’t get any answer. I asked what number they were calling
and it was Grandma’s. We have told them many times to remove her number and put
our number on her chart. Long story short her new appointment is at the end of
the month. When I got Grandma home she told me that the hall light was burned
out and wanted me to change it. Well it turns out that the switch is bad. I
needed to get a new switch which I have at home. When I got home Cheri had made
a new recipe of onion and meat ball soup in the crockpot for supper. After
lunch we went to the hospital to see Mike and he is doing much better and is
being discharged late this afternoon. Then we stopped by Grandmas to install
the new hallway light switch. I found out that the old switch was just
installed in the wall without an electrical box. So I will have to make a trip
to Lowe’s for parts. She also told us the her TV still isn’t working right so I
called Bright House and are going to send a repairman between 4 and 6 pm. When
we got home it was about time for supper, the onion meat ball soup wasn’t as
good as we thought it would be. Cheri has some ideas on how to make the leftovers
better. This evening we went to see the movie “The Case for Christ”. I was very
good and was based on a true story about the life of Lee Strobel aggressive
atheism to evangelical Christianity. We got to the theater early to make sure
we could get a good seat. Well we were the first ones there and only two more
people came to see the movie. I was so sure the theater would be full for the
movie, I sure was disappointed.
