Gay Dec-31-18

The last time I can write
2018. It has been an interesting year for Cheri and me. We have had some good
time and bad times but God has gotten us through another year and we find
ourselves getting closer to God, something we should have done many years ago.
I had a 9:00 am appointment to check out a kitchen stove. She said that she has
trouble with the oven not getting hot enough. After checking it out there wasn’t
any lower heating element. I could see that there had been one but was broke
off at the back of the oven. She has had the stove for nine years and said that
it never work right. She bought the stove that was a floor sample and was on
close out. I told her I could put in an element and it would work ok, but she
decided that she would get a new stove. The rest of the day I worked on the
shadow boxes. I now have them all sanded and ready for primer paint. I did make
a trip to Lowe’s for additional sandpaper and primer paint. Cheri and Nikki
spent the day out shopping and also got groceries for Grandma. We picked up
Grandma at 5:30 pm and we went to Golden Corral for dinner to celebrate the New
Year. Then back home to settle in for an evening of TV, no snacks as we were all
still full from eating too much. I pray that everyone celebrates the New Year sensibly
and has a good time. Thank you God for guiding us through another day, without
you we are nothing.
