Gay Jan-30-19

It was another night of
pain. I did sleep in bed with the support belt but was up by 1:30 am and headed
to the recliner. I had a job of replacing a fan remote that wasn’t working and
replace a smoke detector. Cheri took our neighbor Jean to Dade City so she
could get her driver license renewed. I got home around 11:15 am and Cheri was
also back home. We had an early lunch because Cheri and I decided it was time
for me to see a doctor. So we went over to the emergency room at the hospital
here in Zephyrhills as I didn’t feel like going to Tampa VA. The good news is
that I don’t have a broken rib. The bad news is I have a case of the shingles.
The doctor gave me three prescriptions to help with the pain. We went over to
Wal-Mart to get them filled and did some grocery shopping while waiting for the
medicine. The doctor had given me a couple of pills that was very strong and
needed to have Cheri drive us home from Wal-Mart. I was feeling light headed
and sick to my stomach. By 6:00 pm I was feeling better and the pain was much
less. We had leftover potato soup for supper. It was a normal evening of TV. Thank
you God for taking care of us today.
