I checked the rain gauge and we received two inches from the 24 hours of rain.  I had another really bad night and was up before 3:00 am with a lot of pain. I had a 9:30 am eye appointment this morning. I am having a cataract removed from my left eye and today was the pre surgery appointment. The surgery is on 2/8/19. It was 1:30 pm when I got home and checked my appointment sheet and they gave me someone else appointment sheet, so after three different calls and a trip to the local VA clinic I got things straighten out. Cheri took Grandma for her knee appointment witch was at 9:30 am and didn’t get in to see the doctor until 11:00 am. Cheri was baking chocolate chip cookies when I got home. After all the problems we decided we had done enough for the day. I did nap some while watching TV. When we went to bed tonight I raised up my side of the bed to see if that would reduce the rib pain and be able to sleep. I will let you know tomorrow how that worked.
