Hard to believe that another month has gone. We all need to make good use of our time as it is something we can never get back. I left around 8:30 am and headed for the Sunday school kitchen project. I worked on the cabinet doors of the old cabinets which are all metal. I sanded down the old pull holes and plugged them with some JB Weld. I got a call while I was there from church friends Dick and Linda and told me If I brought the doors to them they would sand and paint them, which made me very happy as you know I don’t like painting. I also built a panel to fill the opening between the cabinet and wall. There used to be a shelf there but with the new cabinets you couldn’t get to it so it needed to be closed up. I also put on a coat of primer on the under lament so it will be ready for the back splash. I thought that I would take the old kitchen stove to the salvage yard but was too heavy for me to load into the truck by myself. I was done by 2:30 pm and headed to Dick and Linda’s with the cabinet doors. Then I made a stop at Lowe’s for some materials returns and to buy a rope to put across Larry and Denise’s driveway as the old one had deteriorated and needed to be replace. It was 4:30 pm when I finally got home. Cheri had a busy day as she was out and about doing errands, shopping, and made lasagna for our supper along with Texas toast. It was a normal evening of TV. We are still having very hot weather as it was 93 today. Thank you God for a wonderful day.
