Larry and Denise picked us up at 9:00 am this morning to go and get the camper. Larry and Denise are going to pull it home with their truck because I don’t have a brake controller on our truck and didn’t want to pull the camper without brakes. I think it was around 11:30 am when we got it home and set up in front of our house. We can only have it here for 48 hours which is a park policy for loading or unloading and washing the camper. While Cheri was working on putting things in the camper I went to find a place to store it. There is a campground next door to our park and found a spot to store it which is close by to work on it. The rest of the day was spent doing some cleaning on the outside of the camper. I also removed a cargo carrier on the back of the camper. We spent some time showing the camper to neighbors and getting ourselves familiar with the camper. At 5:00 pm we locked it up and quit for the day. Cheri fixed us steak and eggs for supper. Cheri and I were both really tired this evening even though we didn’t work that hard. Think it was just the stress of getting the camper home. I want to thank God for blessing us with this camper, the help of Larry and Denise, and finding a place close by for storage. We haven’t had time to take any pictures but here is the link to the advertisement of the camper with some pictures. https://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/rvs/7027105197.html

I want to wish everyone a
Happy Thanksgiving. We are so blessed to live in a country where we have freedom
and able to worship Jesus Christ our Lord. Cheri was busy with Laundry this
morning and I was doing more checking on the camper we bought yesterday. We
need to find a place where we can store it. We picked up Larry and Denise to go
out for Thanksgiving dinner at 1:00 pm. By going at 1:00 pm I thought the main
rush would be over. We had planned on going to Lakeland for Chinese but Cheri
had called and they were closed. So then today we planned on going to Golden Corral
but when we got there was a long line of people waiting to get in. So we decide
to go on down the road to Sonnies and found that it was closed. So we continued
down the road to Sunrise Eatery. There were several people waiting to get in
but not as bad as Golden Corral. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes. The meal
was good and then went back to Larry and Denise’s to play cards. It was a fun
afternoon playing and visiting. We got home a little after 8:30 pm. We got a
call from Nikki wishing us a Happy Thanks Giving and had a nice long visit with
her. We watched one show before calling it a night. Thank you God for a blessed
day and good friends.

I tried to sleep in this
morning but that only lasted until 5:15 am. It was cool 43 degrees this morning
but quickly warmed to the high 70’s. I did some internet searching looking at
campers. I found one that looked pretty good and texted them to see if it was
still for sale. Not hearing anything I went out to do some cleaning in my shop
and work area. Well I got a text back that it was still for sale. I called them
to see about checking it out and said that today was good for them. So I called
Larry and Denise to see if they would go with us to check it out and they said
that they would. So we picked them up and headed to Odessa about 35 miles away.
Cheri and Denise checked the inside and Larry and I checked the outside and
then went inside to check things out. After that we did a more detailed
inspection on everything inside and out. Larry did find a couple of places that
needed to be caulked. The camper is a 2018 Forest River. The model is a Prime
Time Avenger 21 feet long with one slide out. It looked like it had never been
used but the owner said that they used it three times. The reason they are
selling it is because of health problems. Long story short we are now the new
owners of the trailer. We will be picking it up on Friday. This evening we met
Don and Dee Langston at Plaza Mexico at 4:00 pm for dinner. They are a couple
we have met through my working for them. They have sold their house and are
moving north in the panhandle of Florida. They are a great couple and are going
to miss them. Thank you God for guiding us through this day and blessing us
with friends and a new camper.

It has been in the low 40’s
the last couple of weeks and this morning was no different with a temp of 43
degrees. I left the house at 7:00 am for my Tuesday morning accountability group
breakfast and Bible study. There were only six of us as many are gone for
Thanks Giving or sick. We studied the last half of John chapter eight. I left a
little early as I needed to get home by 8:45 am so Cheri could leave for her
appointment. The truck is still in the garage for repair work. Hard to get
along with just on vehicle. The rest of my day was spent in my recliner I just
haven’t had the energy to do any work. I watched TV and napped the rest of the forenoon
while Cheri did her house work and a visit with our neighbor Jean. I did go for
a haircut at 12:15 pm. When I got home it was back to the recliner for more
rest. I slept the rest of the afternoon. At 4:00 pm we went over to Larry and Denise’s.
The four of us headed to St Pete to see the Enchant Christmas at Tropicana
Field. Well when we got there it was all quite. It turned out that it doesn’t
start until next week. Cheri and Denise both checked the dates and thought it
was this week. Some of the things in the advertisement were miss leading. We
weren’t the only ones as three other cars came and they were also confused and
thought it was on this week. So we headed for home with a stop at Applebee’s
for supper. Long story short it was after 9:00 pm when we got home. We were both
tired so we head to bed and watched some TV there. Thank you God for this day
and time spent with friends.

It was 44 degrees this
morning and only got up to 68 degrees for a high. Cheri and I went for our dentist
appointments this morning. Mine was for 8:00 am and Cheri’s for 9:00 am.
Normally we would take two vehicles but with the truck being in the dealership
for repair we had to go together. When we got home Cheri busy herself with
Monday’s housework and then spending time in her sewing room working on a new
project. I put a few things I needed in the car and went to Tampa Bay country
to install the garage light and fix a couple of other electrical problems. I
also installed new water filters in their refrigerators. It was around 2:00 pm
when I got home. Cheri fixed us a late lunch and then I went to repair a roof
here in the park. I was done and home by 4:30 pm. After my shower we settled in
to watch some TV before supper. Supper was late today because of the late
lunch. I napped through a couple of shows. We got a video call from Darren,
Brooke, and Wyatt. It is so much fun talking and seeing Wyatt. They are doing
good and said that their weather is cooling off and all the snowbirds are
starting to arrive for the winter. Thank you God for blessed day.

We left for church a
little earlier than we usually do as I had to make the coffee for our Sunday
school class. Pastor Randy’s message today was all about prayer. Our Sunday
school lesson was titled “Walking to Battle” from Ephesians 6:10-20. How we
need to put on the armor of God. It was around 1:00 pm when we got home. Cheri
and I were both tired and settled in our recliners to watch some TV. But we
both did more napping than watching. Larry and Denise stopped by to bring back
my tile saw that he had he used for a tile project. We had our usual Sunday
evening pizza for supper. Cheri went to bed at 8:30 pm and I stayed up to watch
the Green Bay Packer football game but ended up going to bed at half time as I
couldn’t stay awake. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends.

Cheri and I did our usual
Saturday morning breakfast at the Hole-in-One donut shop. We were there by 7:00
am. Cheri’s plan for the forenoon was to work in her sewing room. I planned on
getting the drone out and flying it again this morning. But got a call from
Tampa Bay country about a garage light that didn’t work so I headed over to
check it out. It turned out to be a bad ballast. So I headed back to Lowe’s to
get a new light and will be installing it on Monday. It was too late to get the
drone out as we were picking up Larry and Denise at 1:00 pm to go to Treasure
Island to see the sand sculptures and venders. We had a hard time finding a
place to park. They did have event parking but the lots were all full. After
much driving around we did find a spot. The sand sculptures turned to be a disappointment
as there were less than half as many has last time we were there. On the way
home we made a stop at Sam’s Club to get gas for the car and salt for our water
softener. We stopped at Culver’s for supper and all had the kid’s meal. After
dropping Larry and Denise off we headed for home. It was a little past 7:00 pm
when we arrived home. I settled in to watch the Wisconsin Badger football game
I had recorded. Thank you God for safe travels and being with friends.

I didn’t have any work
today away from home. Being we had such a bad breakfast yesterday we went to
the Village Inn this morning and had a good breakfast. Cheri had already
started the laundry before we went for breakfast. She spent the rest of her day
with the Friday laundry, spending time in her sewing room, and resting. It was
cold this morning but warm up quickly to be a very nice day. I decided that I
was going to take the drone Darren bought for my birthday and fly it for the
first time. I was very nervous about flying it. So I asked our neighbor Mike if
he would go with me to fly it. He has a drone and knows a lot more than I do
about them. So we headed out to the church property which has a big open field to
fly it. I wanted to make sure I had enough space without running into any
trees. Things went well and was much easier to fly than I thought it would be.
We even took a couple of videos that came out pretty good for the first time.
We didn’t have lunch today and had an early supper. After supper we went to see
Mike and Pam as Pam is recovering from knee surgery and seem so be doing pretty
good. When we got back home we settled
in for an evening of TV along with some cake and ice cream. Thank you God for a
fun and restful day.

It was a free day from
work away from the house. Cheri and I dropped the truck off for an oil change
and service on our way to Dade City to have breakfast at Olga’s Bakery &
Deli. We heard about it on TV from Charlie’s World. I am here to tell you it
wasn’t very good. I guess we are spoilt from the Hole-In-One donut shop here in
Zephyrhills, didn’t realize how good our donut shop was. I guess that is the
reason we go every Saturday morning. When we got home Cheri was busy with
laundry, house work, and spending time in her sewing room. I did some paper
work to send off to Pasco County to do something about the barking dogs behind
us. When that was done I went out and removed the driveway repair concrete
form. Then spent time removing all the dead flowers from the Mum plants. I also
cleaned and filled the bird feeders. It was nice to get a few things done here
at home. I got a call from the dealership where our truck is being serviced and
said that we had a substantial oil leak. I said that seems strange because we
haven’t had any oil on the concrete where we park the truck. I have a real
trust problem when it comes to car dealerships. They are going to see if the warranty
will cover the cost of the repair. If they don’t cover it I will do the repair
myself if there is really one to fix. Cheri fixed us spaghetti with Italian meat
sauce and garlic toast for supper. This evening Larry and Denise came over to
play Hand, Knee, and Foot. We play two games that were close but Cheri and
Denise won both games. Thank you God for blessed day and time with friends.

It was a cold 40 degrees
this morning but turned to be a nice sunny day with no wind. I was back at work
over in Tampa Bay country. My project for the day was to run a water line to the
lanai where they have a swimming pool. Well when I got there they had me remove
two towel bars that were plastered into the wall. So they wanted the wall
patched so it could be painted as the painter was there painting the bathroom
and kitchen. They failed to realize it takes a couple of days for patching and
a couple coats of plaster. When I started on the water line I realized I had
bought the wrong pipe. So I headed back to Zephyrhills Lowe’s for the right
pipe and as long as I was close to home I stopped for lunch and some drywall
for patching towel bar holes. I was back on the job by 1:00 pm. I got the wall
patched and one coat of plaster on. Then it was back to work on the water line
which I got done. It was a long day and didn’t get home until 6:15 pm. Cheri
was busy with her Wednesday house work and working in her sewing room. She fixed
us leftover brats and potato salad for supper. We are still trying to get
caught up on our TV shows as we are still behind by three episodes. Thank you
God for a bless day.

There were only six of us
for the accountability breakfast and Bible study this morning. Many had doctor’s
appointments and colds. We studied the first part of John chapter eight. There
is a lot of good stuff in the book of John. When I got home I got a call from
Larry wanting to know if I wanted help with the concrete work. I said yes, so
he and Denise came over. It gave Cheri and Denise a chance to visit and Jean
also stopped by for a visit. Larry and I were done around 11:30 am with the
concrete work. Glad to have that project done thanks Larry for the help. Larry
and Denise had lunch with us. This afternoon I stopped by Donna’s as she is
leaving for Wisconsin tomorrow for a few weeks and has some work that she wants
me to do while she is gone. Then I made a trip to Lowe’s for materials for tomorrow’s
project. I was going to get the truck ready for tomorrow but just didn’t have the
energy to get it done or maybe I was just too lazy. Cheri fixed us brats and potato
salad for supper. Then a normal evening of TV with some napping for me. Thank
you God for time spent with you and friends.

My day turned out to be
much different than I thought it would be. I had planned on going to Tampa Bay
country to work but got a text from Patty telling me she was sick and shouldn’t
come. So I decided to repair the broken concrete from the city replacing the
curb water box. It was in the mid 50’s this morning with sun and no wind. It was
a perfect day to be working outside. By noon I had the forms in place and had
gone to get the concrete. I was ready to do the mixing and pouring this afternoon.
But got a call while I was having lunch from a party here in our park. I was
told that part of their house was without electricity. After spending much time
looking for where the problem was it turned out to be an electrical outlet in
the bedroom. At some time I could see that it had been wet and corroded and not
making a good connection. I cleaned up the wiring and installed a new outlet.
By the time I was done it was too late for me to mix and pore the concrete.
Cheri worked in her sewing room today putting together a picture board of
Grandma to have for her memorial. Cheri fixed us some leftover beef and gravy
on toast for lunch and pork chops with sweetcorn for supper. Later in the
evening we had a bowl of ice cream while watching TV. Thank you God for guiding
us through another day.

It was 49 degrees this
morning and don’t think it got above 60 and cloudy all day. Pastor Randy’s
message was titled “How to live out your Faith” from 1 Peter 1:13-17. Our
Sunday school lesson was titled “Walking as Family” from Ephesians 5:22-6:4.
After Sunday school we headed to Odesa to visit the Suncoast museum for fine scale
modeling. It is one of the best I have seen for railroad modeling. It was a
nice way to spend the afternoon. You can check it out by going to their web site
https://www.finescalemodeling.org/
. While we were there I received a phone call from Mike that Pam was in the ER
for high blood pressure. So on the way home we stopped to see her. They had her
blood pressure down and was doing ok. They are going to keep her for the night
to make sure it didn’t go up again. She thinks it had to do with some medications
she was taking for her knee surgery. When we got home I settled in watching the
NASCAR race and Cheri was busy reading. We had our usual Sunday evening pizza
for supper. We watched a couple of shows we had recorded before calling it a
night. Thank you God for time spent with you today. I have posted a few
pictures from the museum.

It was cold here again
this morning with a temp of 54 degrees and don’t think it got up to 70 degrees,
cloudy, and windy. Cheri and I did our normal Saturday morning by going to the
Hole-In-One donut shop. We were back home by 8:30 am. Denise picked up Cheri at
9:00 am and they went to a craft fair here in our park and then went shopping
in Dade City. I had an appointment this morning to check out job of moving the
washer and dry from the shed to inside the house. I think it will be after Christmas
before I do it as they are going to let me know. Then I went to Ron and Sandy’s
to install a TV antenna which I thought would only take a couple of hours but
was wrong and it took me five hours to get the job done. I skipped lunch and
was hungry when I got home at 3:30 pm so Cheri started supper early while I
took a shower and got cleaned up. After supper we settled in and I watched the
Wisconsin Badger football game I had recorded. Cheri was going through all of
her magazines. Later we watched a few of the shows we had recorded. Thank you
God for a blessed day.

This morning was going to
be a morning where I could sleep in but still was awake before 5:00 because of
barking dogs. Cheri and I went out for breakfast at the Sunrise Restaurant. They
open at 7:00 am and we were there around 7:40 am and the restaurant was already
full of people and think we got one of the last places to set. Plus it was
raining and didn’t think they would be many people out and about this morning.
When we got home Cheri went to the sewing room to get things back in order. She
had a lot of Grandma’s things she kept and had to find a place for them. I went
to work on the heat pump to see why it would start. I removed the electrical
cover and then went in to turn it on and it started and ran well. So I put the
cover back on and will have to wait until it quits again. I repaired Cheri’s
sewing room chair which had a broken wheel. I had bought a new wheel for it and
it didn’t fit. But after some alterations I got it fit. Cheri is happy to have
it back as it had been a while that it was broken. I did do one job here in the
park today. It was to install a new dryer vent as the old one was pretty much
plugged with lint. I also shorten the vent hose. This evening we were in invited
over to Larry and Denise’s to play Hand, Knee, and Foot. We played two games
and Cheri and Denise won the first game and Larry and I won the last game. So I
guess we were all winners. Thank you God for a blessed day and spending time
with friends.

I was up before 4:00 am
this morning not sure why, just couldn’t go back to sleep. It is a little
warmer this morning but cold enough that I wanted a little heat and the heat
pump would start so I will check it out tomorrow and hope I can fix it without
calling for help. Cheri was busy doing laundry this morning as she does every
Thursday along with her other Thursday housework. She also spent time going
through Grandma’s jewelry and cleaning it and picking out the things that she
wants to keep. I left at 8:30 am for work back in Tampa Bay country. I finished
installing the can lights in the dining room. I installed the new cabinet in
the laundry room, did caulking round the laundry sink, and install door pulls
on cabinets. I was done by 2:30 pm and got home a little after 3:00 pm. I was
nice to be home early and cleaned up. I joined Cheri in our recliners as she
was watching a Hallmark movie. Within a few minutes I was asleep and felt much
better after an hours nap. Cheri fixed us breakfast for supper. We had
scrambled eggs, sausage links, toast, and juice. It was another normal evening
watching TV, still trying to get caught up on our recorded shows. Thank you God
for blessing us today.

It was 52 degrees this morning
with a stiff breeze. When you are use to 80 degrees 52 is really cold. I was
back at work in Tampa Bay country. Well I thought I would be as when I got
there I went to work on installing the additional can lights. I got the first
hole cut and realized I had forgot to bring my fish stick to fish the wiring.
So I was done for the day. I got a call from Larry wanting to know if I had a
four inch hole saw. So on the way home I stopped by there place to drop off the
saw. Then I took the truck through the car wash as it was pretty dirty. I was
home by noon. Cheri had a busy morning with housework and going to visit Jean.
She was baking chocolate chip cookies for me when I got home. Sure did smell
good when I walked in to the house. I decided to take the rest of the day off.
We settled in for an afternoon of TV trying to get caught up on our TV shows as
we are behind by three episodes on most of the shows. Well it wasn’t long and I
was asleep. I slept for an hour and a half and felt much better. Cheri fixed us
barbeque on toast for supper and several chocolate cookies throughout the
evening. Thank you God for time spent to rest and build some energy.

I headed out a little pass
7:00 am for my accountability group Bible study and breakfast. We had a good
study and finished up John chapter seven. When I got home Cheri was busy with
her Tuesday house work. She also made a trip to the bank, post office, and
grocery store. I didn’t work over in Tampa Bay today. It was going to be a day
at home to rest and clean up my shop. Well I did get some cleaning done. Then
made a trip to Lowe’s for some materials I will need tomorrow. From there I
went to Dade City to work in our Sunday school building. I cleaned the roof
gutters and removed the end cap on them so the water can get out when the down
spouts are plugged. I repaired the two six foot patio gates which wouldn’t
close together, repair a storage room door, and installed a new light in the
storage room. I did get home until 5:00 pm. So much for a restful day. Cheri
had made dirty rice and refried beans to take for ladies craft and deviations
night at Sunday school. Sue picked her up at 5:30 pm. I didn’t get a chance to
talk much as she was getting ready to leave and I was heading for the shower.
At 6:15 I took some soup, crackers, chicken salad, and cookies that Cheri fixed
this afternoon over to Pam and Mikes as Pam had knee surgery today and didn’t
get home until 6:00 pm. It was near 7:00 pm when I got home and ready to settle
in for an evening of TV. Cheri got home around 8:00 pm. After a couple of shows
we called it a night. Thank you God for Bible study and time spent with my

First I want to thank all the veterans and active duty men and women have served and are serving to protect our freedom.
Cheri took the day off to relax
and gain some strength. She needed some time for herself as she has been
working so hard to get Grandma’s things sorted and all the different paper work
that needed to be done. I was back at work in Tampa Bay country. Still working
at the same place. Today I removed the new vanity I installed Friday. After it
was installed she didn’t like it so they are getting something different. The
cabinet I had installed in the laundry room and then remove and today I
installed it in the garage. I installed new reflectors in the can lights in the
kitchen. I also worked on rebuilding the bedroom door. It was 4:00 pm when I
got home. After getting cleaned up we went out for supper at Culver’s. From
there we went to Dade City for a meeting with the Sunday school class. We were
setting up all the things we plan to do for the next year. We were back home by
8:00 pm. We decided to go to bed and watch TV there. Thank you God for guiding

Hole-In-One donut shop this morning. We were a little later this morning and
didn’t get there until near 7:30 am. It was on the cool side this morning and
had to wear a jacket for the first time this fall. I had a two hour plumbing
project this morning that turn into an all day job. They had a leak in the wall
from the refrigerator water valve. When I opened up the wall I found mold and
had to remove a large portion of the drywall. I got rid of the mold and
installed a new water valve and replace the drywall and baseboard. I also got a
call from a lady in our park that had a cabinet door that needed to be fixed so
I stopped and done that on my way home. It was after 4:00 pm when I was finally
done for the day. Cheri continued sorting through the tubs from Grandma and now
has them all empty and the sun room back in order. Cheri fixed us a ham and
cheese omelet along with toast and juice for supper. Larry and Denise came over
this evening to play Hand, Knee, and Foot. The last we played was back in May
before they left for Canada. It wasn’t a good night for Cheri and Denise. We
also had a lot of catching up on what they did all summer. Thank you God for good friends and your blessings.

I did get a pretty good night’s

Today I installed a vanity mirror and a medicine cabinet. Then I worked on
installing laundry cabinets over the washer and dryer. I got one cabinet installed
and when I went to put up the other cabinet it was different than the first
one. I did install it and took down the first one I installed as the second one
was a better cabinet. They are going to order another cabinet. I also finished
the wall plaster project and is now ready for paint. I was done early today and
made a stop at Home Depot on the way home. I was home by 3:30 pm. It seemed
nice to get done early. Cheri was busy with the Friday laundry, out to the

night with another coughing bout. But can say that I am feeling better today.
Not so much this morning but as the day went on I felt better. I am still
working over in Tampa Bay country at the same place. Today I did some wall
patching and plastering. I also installed a new vanity along with the water and
waste hook up. It seems like each day they have some additional work that they
want done. I was back home a little after 4:00 pm. Cheri was busy with laundry
and continued unloading tubs from Grandma’s. Cheri make us chili for supper. It
was a normal evening of watching TV shows we had recorded along with some
napping for me. It is pill time at 7:00 pm so that woke me up and we had a bowl
of ice cream. Thank you God for guiding us through this day.

I managed to stay in bed
all night with some coughing but able to get some rest. Cheri got her Wednesday
house work done and had girlfriend over from church for a visit and lunch. I
had a job here in the park to run a water line to their new refrigerator. It
turned out to be a bigger job than I thought it would be as I had to crawl
under the house to tap into the water line. It was noon when I got done. The
job was almost more than I could handle today as I am still not feeling the
best. After lunch I headed to the recliner where I spent most of the afternoon.
Cheri joined me and we tried to watch some TV shows we had recorded. Cheri and I
both were napping so I shut off the TV. But couldn’t go back to sleep so I went
to the bedroom to rest. No luck there because the neighbor’s dog kept barking.
After an hour of that I went back to the recliner. Cheri was awake watching TV.
Cheri fixed us TV dinners that came from Grandma’s. It was a normal evening of
TV with a bowl of ice cream. Thank you God for a blessed day.

It was another night of
sleeping in the recliner. Still doing a lot of coughing and just feeling
miserable. I was out the door a little after 7:00 am for my accountability
group Bible study and breakfast. I really didn’t feel like going but didn’t
want to miss the Bible study. We studied the first part of John chapter seven. When
I got home I called the person I have been working for and told her that I
couldn’t make it today. I told Cheri I wanted to go to urgent care to see why I
wasn’t getting any better. It turned out that I have a sinus infection. I got
some antibiotics to take for the next ten day. I was told I should start
feeling better in a couple of days. I did make a trip to Lowe’s this afternoon
for some materials I will need for work. The rest of the afternoon was spent in
the recliner. Cheri was busy with Tuesday house work and then working on the emptying
tubs from Grandma’s. This evening Cheri went out to eat with four other ladies
from our Sunday school. I went to the church wide Men’s Night Out supper and
planning Men’s Night Out for next year, plan on starting a new program called
Wing Man. It was near 8:00 pm when I got home and Cheri got home just before I
did. We watched a couple of shows and called it a night. Thank you God for
guiding us through another day.

I was up at 4:00 am all
stuffed up and not able to breath. I did go to work this morning and probably
shouldn’t as I was in a heavy sweat all day. I tied to install the new vanity
today but there is still some painting and wall repair that the painter is
doing. I did get the transition strips glued down in the master bedroom closets.
Then I worked on the electrical project in the garage to install an electrical
outlet for the refrigerator. It was 4:00 pm when I got done and headed home. I
did make a stop in our park to check out a project of replacing the floor in
the kitchen sink cabinet. Cheri went over to Baker Acers to get Grandma’s house
up for sale. Plus she got groceries at Wal-Mart. This afternoon she worked on a
couple of tubs of things we brought over from Grandma’s. Cheri fixed us a
couple of TV diners which was ok but Cheri didn’t like them. It was a normal
evening of TV with a bowl of ice cream. Thank you God for a blessed day.

I was up at midnight with
a coughing bout that lasted for a couple hours. It finally settled down around
2:00 am and was able to go back to bed. Cheri was up early this morning getting
the croissants filled with chicken salad and a plate of cheese ready for Sunday
school. Pastor Randy’s message was “Oh What a Love!” from 1 Peter 1:8. Our
Sunday school lesson was “Walking in Love” from Ephesians 5:1-14. Believers are
to imitate Christ by demonstrating His love and character. It was around 1:00
pm when we got home. Cheri spent the afternoon unpacking a couple of tubs of
things we brought over from Grandma’s. I headed to Lowe’s to pick up materials I
need for work tomorrow. Later in the afternoon I settled in to watch the NASCAR
race and the Green Bay Packer football game. The Packers played terrible and it
was like they had never play together. Cheri fixed us our usual Sunday evening
pizza. There wasn’t much time left after the race and football game but did
watch a couple shows we had recorded. Yep we also had a bowl of ice cream.
Thank you God for time spent with you and Christian friends.

I spent half the night in
the recliner all stuffed up and coughing. Needless today I am not feeling the
best. I am so worried that Cheri is going to get this cold I have. It must be
Saturday because Cheri and I went for breakfast at the Hole-in-One donut shop.
Although it was an hour later than we usually get there, just slow getting
around this morning. From there we headed to Grandma’s to finish up the
cleaning and getting the trailer ready for sale. Around 3:00 pm we were done.
When we got home I reinstalled the neighbor’s sun screens which I had removed
so she could have her house power washed. After we got cleaned up we headed for
Sam’s Club as Cheri is fixing lunch for the Sunday school class tomorrow. She
like to go to Sam’s for their croissants and chicken salad to make sandwiches.
On the way to Sam’s we stopped by Larry and Denise’s and found that the arrived
from Canada a couple of hours ago. We had a short visit with them then on to
Sam’s with a stop at Culver’s for supper. We were only in Sam’s for a short
time as we were tired and wanted to get home. With all of this we were still
home a little before 7:00 pm. We had trouble staying awake to watch TV and
decided to go to bed and watch TV there. Thank you God for helping us through
this day.

Another month gone. We
have been so busy and I guess that make time go by faster. Cheri and I went out
for breakfast at the Village Inn this morning. Then over to Grandma’s where we
worked until 2:00 pm. We still have another big day of work to do. But couldn’t
make ourselves do anymore today. On the way home we stopped at the UPS store to
return the Spectrum TV equipment and a quick stop at the Publix’s for a few
things we needed. Cheri headed to the recliner and I left for a haircut. When I
got home I showered and joined Cheri in the recliner. We had leftover roast
beef for supper and later a bowl of ice cream while watching TV. I felt better today
but still fighting the cold and sore throat. Thank you God for a blessed day.

I
forgot to mention that I needed to wish our daughter Nikki a happy birthday
yesterday. Also when I got home yesterday from work the concert in the driveway
was broken up around the water curb box as there had been a water leak. The
city had repair the leak and installed a new curb box. Now I have to replace
the concert. Now for today. I didn’t get until 6:30 am this morning, not
feeling good as I have a cold and sore throat. I still planned on going to work
but after removing some tools from the truck that I didn’t need I realized that
I didn’t have the strength to work today. I went back in the house and headed for
the recliner. Cheri was busy working on the laundry. She planned on going over
to Grandma’s this morning and I told her she couldn’t go because I knew that
she was tired and no energy. Around 1:00 pm we did go over to Grandma’s and
picked up six bags of things to take to Good Will. Cheri had them already
packed and ready to go. After that was done we went back to Grandma’s to pick
up three tubs of things that Cheri wanted to keep. It was around 2:30 pm when
we got home. We were done for the day. Thank you God for getting us through the
day.
