We headed for Jackson at 10am, its 42 degrees and raining. Up at the top of the Teton Pass the temperature drops 34.5 degrees. As we enter Jackson the temperature is back up to 50 degrees.
We find the fair grounds and look through all the Mountain Man Vendors. Lots of it is crafted out of leather and beads. The neatest things I think, was the lamps and furniture made from antlers.
As we head downtown to check out the other events it begins to rain again. We parked and tried to look through things but we were cold and decided to call it a day and head back to the 5th wheel.
Here we go again back up over the pass. The temperature drops to 32.9 degrees and it’s snowing and sticking to the road. We have a 10% down grade on the highway and sharp curves. Gay concentrates on his driving and I’m looking for animals. I spotted 2 moose. Wow!
It has quit raining on our side of the mountain. We arrived at the 5th wheel and I fixed lunch then Gay went outside to try and wash some of the dirt & mud off the truck and 5th wheel.
