I was up early this morning and was over to the repair center by 6:00 am. They started working on the 5th wheel at 6:30 am. At 8:00 am, Cher, Greg and Jeanene arrived to pick me up to go for breakfast at the Second Cup downtown. Cheri had bacon and eggs and I had a country omelet, which I couldn’t eat all of, too much food for me. When we got back to the repair center, they showed us that there was no leak from the black water tank. I guess that was good news, but wonder where the water came from before when we had the problem. They also took the bedroom slide completely out of the 5th wheel. It had water damage in the floor. They worked the rest of the day on that and will get it done tomorrow. Mid morning the four of us went to see the Long Cabin where Dr. Brewster Higley wrote the song Home on The Range which is also the state song for Kansas. When we got back to the repair center, we took the Excel factory tour. It lasted 2 ½ hours and was very interesting, got to see all the new things coming for 2009. We have met a couple from Texas, Rick and Yvonne Dyer. They are also here to have work done on their 5th wheel. We have been trading stories and ideas. It is always fun to learn new things that we can use on the road.
