It was 62 degrees this morning, how nice is that. I had to go to Tampa this morning to get my shingles shot. I have never had the shingles before but I remember my dad having them and all the pain he went through. I took the motorcycle and Larry went along with me for the ride. I had to wait about an hour which isn’t all that bad for the VA. I needed to wait around for an hour after I got the shot to see if I was going to have a reaction to it so Larry and I went over to Burger King and had an early lunch, no reaction so we headed back home. Denise was at our place and she and Cheri were working on their quilt project. Larry and I worked on his truck again as he had a back door that wouldn’t open so we took that apart and fixed it. He also had a window that wouldn’t go down anymore so we found that the problem was with the switch. We went over to the salvage yard to see if they had a used one because we thought it would be very expensive, well no luck there so we went to the auto parts store to see what it would cost. They didn’t have one in stock and said that they would have one by 4:30 pm and it was only $25.00. So we headed back home to see if the girls wanted to play cards. We played one game and it was near 5:00 pm when we got done with it. Cheri and Denise fixed supper while Larry and I went to pick up the window switch. It only took a couple of minutes to install the new switch and when we got home Cheri and Denise had supper ready for us. After supper we played one more game of cards and the girls were the big winners today. After Larry and Denise headed home and we settled in to watch Dancing with the Stars.
