It was already 74 degrees this morning and headed for a high 88 degrees. It was overcast and thought it would be a good time to mow Bud’s and our lawn. It was almost noon when I got down. Just as I was finishing Larry and Denise came and want to know what we were doing for the day. Cheri had been working on her quilt which I thought all she had to do was the binding but I miss under stood her, she has to do some sewing around the outside and then it will be ready for the binding. Cheri and I had a sandwich for lunch while visiting with Larry and Denise. We couldn’t figure out anything to do because it was so hot out, so we played cards all afternoon. Around 4:30 pm the four of us headed down to Lakeland and had dinner at Olive Garden. It started raining while we were eating and was really coming down hard but when we left it was just sprinkling. We drove over to Michel’s where Larry and Denise wanted get some map pins. Just as we entered the store the rain came again really hard. It was coming down so hard you could hardly hear anything that was said. Within a few minutes it had let up enough for Larry and me to walk next door to Staple’s and then it rained really hard again. By the time we left the rain was almost over and we got to see an assume sunset. The rain helped cool things down for the evening. Another wonderful day God made for us.
