We left at 9:00 am and headed over to New Port Richie to see Sharleen and Robyn. It is their last day before leaving tomorrow back to Maine. They showed us pictures of things they have done while they were here for the week. They have done things that I didn’t even know existed around the area. So now Cheri and I have a few more things to check out. After visiting for a while we headed over to the flea market. It is pretty large and it is the first time we have been there, in fact we didn’t even know there was a flea market in New Prot Richie until last Monday when Sharleen and Robyn told us about it. I bought two pair of sun glasses and two dew rages to wear while riding the motorcycle. Cheri bought some used paperback books written by Phillip Margolin, a very good mystery writer. After the flea market we stopped at Perkins for lunch and then to a quilt shop about 12 miles south. Well when we got there the quilt shop had gone out of business and now is a furniture store. So a couple of stores done the strip mall was a Beall’s that we stopped at. After that it was time to head back to Sharleen and Robyn’s. Soon it was 4:00 pm and time to say our goodbyes and head for home. We stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up Grandma’s medicine and then to her place to drop it off and see how she was doing. She is doing fine and said she wants to go to church tomorrow. This evening we got a call from Larry and Denise and they are in West Virginia. They said it took the windshield guy until 5:00 pm to get the windshield repaired and had to get some help with it. So they decided to stay another night where they were because there were tornado warnings north where they had to go. Today Larry spotted a piece of steel sticking out of the front tire of their pickup. They unhooked the truck and took it to get it fixed and ended up putting on the spare tire. Then when they hooked the truck back to the motor home the tail lights on the truck wouldn’t work. So Larry had to do a rewire project before they could continue their trip home. I think they should be writing a blog of their experiences.
