We had plans today to go shopping with Larry and Denise. When they got here I told them that I had gotten an e-mail from Grandma saying her roof had leaked in the bedroom. Larry offered to help me fix the leak. So Cheri and Denise went on shopping, Cheri wanted to see about getting some different materials for her quilt and Denise wanted go to a book store. Larry and I took my ladder and went up to Grandma’s to fix the roof. I set up the ladder and checked the roof and everything looked ok. So I went inside to see where it was leaking. When I checked the ceiling it was all dry, no leak. It had leaked last year while we were in Alaska and Grandma had a local guy come and fix it, she thought it was leaking again. When we got back to our place I was telling Larry I needed to work on the air conditioner as it was dripping water on to the kitchen counter after it run for awhile. So we went up on the roof and gave it a good cleaning and found the drain hole was plugged. It took us a good hour to get it cleaned and put back together, it started to rain as we finished up. Larry and I went down to their park for lunch as the park was having hamburgers, chips and soda for $3.00. When we got back to our place I was showing Larry what I wanted to do with my generator. I want to do a permit installation and wanted Larry’s input. I think we pretty well got it figured out, another project for this summer. A little later Cheri and Denise came home. We couldn’t do anything outside because it was raining so we play a couple games of cards that the girls won.
