Gay Sept-22-13

Grandma
went to church with us this morning. Pastor Dean had a very good message on giving
and tithing. After church it was just the three of us to go for lunch, some of
our lunch group was sick or not feeling good. We went to Next Door Diner for
lunch, the food was excellent. When we got home I settled in for an afternoon
of football and NASCAR racing. It wasn’t a good day for the Green Bay Packers
as they played a very sloppy game and lost. Plus the race didn’t turn out to my
liking. Cheri settled in with the Sunday paper and the book she has been
reading. It wasn’t long and I see she was napping. A few days ago I got up with some red welts on
my leg and thought that I must have gotten bit by a spider during the night.
Well it has gotten worse and having a lot of pain with it, so now I think I have
a case of the shingles. I have heard that they can be very painful so I got the
shingles shot a few months ago. It doesn’t keep you from getting them but it is
not supposed to be as painful. If this is what I have, I can’t imagine what a
full blown care would be like. I do remember when my dad had them and how much
pain he was in.
