Gay Sept-9-13

While
Cheri was at the pool this morning I worked on laying brick pavers out in front
of the shed. When we had the shed at Baker Acers I had the pavers around the
outside of the shed and I didn’t need to do that here so I used them in front
by the door as we don’t have any concrete there. I only have about a quarter of
the number I need, will have to get more later, at least I have it started.
After I showered, Cheri and I work on putting the cover on the new dining room
cornice. It was much harder to do than the kitchen one was because this on as
some lines of color that needs to be just right. But it was worth it as it
looks very nice and Cheri is happy so that makes me happy. Cheri had a 1:00 pm
appointment to take her latest quilt project to the quilter to be quilted. The
quilter she has used for all her quilting has taken a year off as she has a new
baby. So long story short she is happy with the new quilter and how she is
going to quilt Cheri’s project. When we got home I dropped Cheri off and then
headed to the bank to make a deposit and then over to Baker Acers to mow Buds
lawn and start the sprinkler. Then I picked up Grandma’s mail and took it up to
her and visited for a bit. When I got home I fixed Cheri and me a drink and was
ready to sit and relax. Later it was time to head back to Bud’s and turn the
water off. When I got back home I started the grill to do some brats and couple
of steaks. So it was another wonderful day in the neighborhood that God gave
us.
