Gay April-21-14

It
was another cloudy day and the high temp was 69 degrees. Cheri headed out for
her pool exercise. I paid some bills and did some computer work. I wasn’t in
any hurry this morning as I had to take Grandma for her 11:00 am B-12 shot. It
only takes five minutes and we had to wait until 11:45 am. We also stopped at
the bank and at another doctor’s office to get a prescription renewed but they were
closed; I will have to go back tomorrow. It was 12:45 pm when I got home and I
had a 1:00 pm appointment to work at Ron and Sandy’s to fix a couple of outlets
that weren’t working after the electrician did the wiring for their new garage.
I check out what I thought might be wrong and didn’t find the problem. I need
to spend some time thinking about what it might be and then go back again. On
the way home I filled up the van with gas and used our rewards of 35 cents a
gallon from Winn Dixie, every little bit helps. I also stopped by CVS to fill a
prescription for Grandma but can’t get it filled until May 15th. So
as you can see I wasn’t having very good luck today. Cheri was working on her
latest quilt project when I got home. She had been working in the kitchen
cooking spare ribs for supper. We had invited Larry and Denise over for supper
as it is their last night in Florida, they are leaving for Ontario tomorrow
morning. We played a couple of games of Pinochle which Larry and I won.
