It was another hot day as it was already 71 degrees at 6:00 am. I worked outside in the sheds and I think I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Cheri worked on her quilt project. I quit working at 11:30 am and got cleaned up, had an early lunch as I had to take Grandma for her eye appointment which took a lot longer then I thought it would. I dropped Grandma off at home and headed over to Wal-Mart to get a prescription of eye drops filled for her. They told me it would be ready in 30 minutes, so I looked around while I waited. When I went back to pick it up they told me it was out of stock and wouldn’t be ready until late tomorrow afternoon. I also made a quick stop at Lowe’s to pick up some electrical supplies; I need to add a couple of outlets to the shed for the water softener and a place to charge the batteries for my drills. It was after 4:00 pm by the time I got home. Cheri had finished her latest quilt project, a table topper for summer. We had a couple of thunder storms come though late this afternoon and evening, it rained really hard but didn’t last long. I check the rain gauge and we got ½ inch of rain.
