Gay April-25-14

At
10:00 am Cheri and I took the motorcycle and rode to Leesburg for the Bike
Fest. This was the 18th year for it and the first time we have went.
It is supposed to be a lot like Bike Week in Daytona. There were a lot of
vendors but mostly clothes and sun glasses. It was spread over nine blocks and
about three blocks wide with vendor booths in every crack and cranny. It is
held right down town and the streets are closed off to vehicle traffic, only
motorcycles are allowed. We did find a place to park on the street but were a
lot of places charging 5 dollars to park. Before we went I had looked on line
and found that there was a quilt shop in the area of the Bike Fest, so Cheri was
looking forward to visiting the shop. Well long story short it had gone out of business
a couple of years ago. I felt bad because that was the main reason she went
with me. It was still fun looking at what the vendors had for sale. We found a
little restaurant on Main Street where we got a really good pulled pork
sandwich. It was around 3:30 pm when we got home, it was a nice 120 mile ride
and a beautiful day. We were tired from the ride and sat down in the recliners
to watch some TV but I think we did more napping than watching. It was a wonderful
day that God made for us.
