Happy Father’s day to all the fathers, I for one got calls from our two daughters wishing me a happy father’s day and a happy birthday, how great is that. We picked up Grandma for church and she had a birthday card and a box of candy for me. We were surprised to see Ron and Sandy in church. He said that he was feeling better but tired. They did go out for lunch with us at Island Breeze. We were surprised when we got the bill as they didn’t charge Ron and I for our lunch because it was father’s day, how nice was that. After lunch Ron and Sandy came over to see our new driveway and our new laundry closet. We visited for a while and Ron said that their kitchen sink was stopped up and couldn’t get it to drain. So Cheri and I took my drain snake and went over to their place to see if I could get it open. The drain trap was open so I put the snake in and didn’t really find anything. Ron had a pressure adapter so we could use the water hose on it and between that and the snake we got it cleaned out and working again. Than we sat down and visited for a while. Sandy gave us some tips on flowers for our flower pot that we are going to put out in front of the house. It was near 4:00 pm when we finally got home. I settled in and watched the NASCAR race that I had recorded and Cheri settled in with a book she is reading. I thought we were going to have a day without rain but around 9:00 pm we got a rain shower.
