We received an e-mail from Grandma telling us that one of the fan blades on her ceiling fan broke and fell on the floor. So this morning I went over to check it out. I ended up going to Lowe’s to get a new fan and got it installed by noon. When I got home Cheri was finishing up our laundry and house cleaning. This afternoon we went to get haircuts. When we got there no one was waiting so only had to wait for them to finish with the ones they were working on. But right after we checked in a lot of people came and soon it was an hour’s wait. It was hot and muggy today so we stayed in the rest of the afternoon. Old people do funny things and today it was my turn. I put a cup of coffee in the microwave to heat it up and when the buzzer went off letting me know it was done, so what do I do, I open the refrigerator looking for the coffee. Sure made me feel stupid. Pam and Mike invited us up to their place for supper and to play games. They taught us a game called Rummikub and then we played the game Skip-Bo. After we were done playing we discussed our Bible study on Revelations. Pam and Mike brought out some very good points that we hadn’t thought of. It is nice to have good friends to help guild us in our journey with God.
