I was up again at 5:30 am, beginning to think that is my new getting up time. One of the first things I do in the morning is make coffee. Well this morning I went to get a cup and found that it was really weak coffee, forgot to put the coffee in. So had to make a new pot and later I went to get a cup and found that I had forgot to turn on the coffee pot. Well I finally got a cup of good coffee, must have gotten up too early. Grandma didn’t go to church with us as there was going to be a guest speaker and there wouldn’t be any notes for her. Church and Sunday school were both very good. Afterwards Mel, Jan, Cheri, and I went out for lunch at Doc’s. It was the first time for Mel and Jan. It wasn’t busy and we had a table in the back where it was quite which made it nice to visit. After a good lunch a long visit it was time to head home. It was after 2:00 pm when we arrived home. I just got settled in to watch the Green Bay Packers when I got a call from our neighbor Mike next door wanting to know if we were home as he was coming over for a visit and his car keys which I forgot to leave at their house yesterday. We had a good visit and got caught up on what they had done for the summer. After watching the Packers I watched the rest of the NASCAR race that I had recorded. I was happy to see that my driver got into the chase. I thought I would be able to work on the kitchen cabinets later this afternoon but just didn’t have the energy to do it.
