Gay Sept-6-15

We along with Grandma went
to church this morning and was really good to get back to church and Sunday
school. I guess you might say we had an old time church service this morning as
the power was off to the church from a blown transformer. So there weren’t any
lights, sound equipment, air conditioning, and only a piano for music. Pastor
Randy had to speak up for everyone to hear. I must say I really enjoyed the old
time service. The worst part was probably being without the air conditioning as
it was getting pretty hot by the time the service was over. We did hear that
they had power for the second service. The house we have Sunday school in didn’t
lose power so we had it cool for class. After Sunday school we along with Mel
and Jan went to ABC Pizza for lunch. I was pretty disappointed in lunch don’t
think it was as good as it has been. We dropped Grandma off at home and then
headed to the theater to meet Mike and Pam for the movie A Walk in the Woods.
It was a funny and very enjoyable movie although the language needed to be
cleaned up. I would give the movie an eight out of ten. Long story short it was
8:40 am when we left the house this morning and didn’t get back home until 4:00
pm. I had the rest of the Badger football game, the Packer per season game, and
the NASCAR race to watch. Needless to say I didn’t get through everything and
still have the NASCAR race to watch. It was a good day to spend time with God
and friends.
