Bruce and Jeannie went to church with us this morning. We didn’t stay for Sunday school as Bruce and Jeannie had to leave early this afternoon. When we got home Cheri fixed the leftover lasagna she made the other day along with strawberry short cake from the strawberries that Bruce and Jeannie brought. After lunch it was time to say our good byes and told them we were looking for them to come again next year. After they left Cheri texted Jan and Mel to see if they were up to having some company for a bit. We got a text back telling us to come over so we headed to their place. Mel looked the best we have seen him in weeks. Their daughter, granddaughter, and great grandchildren are coming next Sunday for a week so they are excited about seeing them. We got home around 4:00 pm and Cheri did a load of laundry and I settled in for to watch the NASCAR race which had a very exciting end. Cheri had joined me before it was over and spent time watching and playing on her I-Pad. Cheri fixed pizza for supper.
