Cheri was busy doing her Thursday house work and laundry and I took Grandma for two appointments this morning so it was 11:30 am before I got home. Cheri had her house work done and was busy in her sewing room working on another project. After lunch I went outside and cleaned the rain gutters and was going to do some raking of leaves but it was too hot. So I headed inside and worked on patching the ceiling in the kitchen where the old cabinets and light fixture hung. It is a popcorn ceiling and I got a special patch compound for it. It looked really bad after I got done but looked much better after it dried. I will have to do another coat and hopefully it will be done. Cheri and Denise went to a quilt show in Lakeland this afternoon. It was after 6:00 pm when they got home and said that there weren’t has many vendors as last year. Neither of them made any purchases. I took Denise home and checked on Larry’s progress on closing in his water softener, looks really nice. We had a high temp of 89 degrees today.
