We were slow getting around this morning, nice that we didn’t have to be anywhere today. Cheri fixed us pancakes for breakfast along with orange juice and of course coffee. Cheri headed for her sewing room and I finally forced myself to get back to work on the rollouts. I got the final sanding done on five of them and got the other three ready for sanding. I also got the new windshield wiper installed which I bought yesterday. A few weeks ago Ken Burdell came by to talk to me about a Veterans club he wants to start here in the park. We visited for a while and seemed to hit off. So early this afternoon I went over to see about inviting him and his wife Peggy over to play cards Tuesday or Wednesday night. Peggy wasn’t home and said that he would talk to her when she got home and let me know. Well around 3:00 pm they showed up and visited with us for an hour and a half. We had a good visit and they are coming over Wednesday night to play cards. We are going to teach them how to play Hand, Knee, and Foot. Cheri made some homemade soup from a recipe that I found on line. It was pretty good and have enough for another meal which is fine with me as I am a soup lover. This evening we watched Dancing with the Stars. Cheri was wrong on who got voted off tonight, first time she has been wrong this season.
