Wishing everyone a happy Thanks Giving. Our country isn’t what it once was but we still live in the best country and should be very thankful for it. Please take a few minutes to just sit and think about how God has blessed us. This morning I sat and watch the highlights from the NASCAR race that I had recorded Sunday. Cheri was busy getting laundry done, had a lot of it from our trip. Later I went out and put up the Christmas lights. Grandma wanted to go to Golden Coral for dinner today. So we picked her up at 1:30 pm, decided to go later so it wouldn’t be so busy. Well was I wrong when we pulled into the parking lot there were at least 40 people waiting to get in. So we decided to go to Bob Evans down Tampa way. We did have to wait about five minutes to get seated as they were also very busy. They had a special Thanks Giving menu which was ok and got a lot to eat. On the way back to Grandma’s we went by Golden Coral there was still a long line of people waiting. We played a couple games of cards with Grandma which Cheri won. I guess I need her to buy a lottery ticket as she is very lucky. After we got home we settled in for an evening of TV and I did more napping than watching.
