Grandma told us yesterday that she wouldn’t be going to church as her knee is giving her a lot of pain and being out in the cold air doesn’t help. Pastor Randy’s message was more about putting on the armor of God to protect ourselves. Our Sunday school class was on Prayer. So it was an excellent day learning about God and what we need to do. Cheri spent the afternoon in the recliner resting. When I finished on the rocking motorcycle base yesterday I wasn’t real happy with it so I took it out this afternoon and did some major sanding on it and now looks much better. It was near 4:00 pm when I finished with it. I just got in the house when we got a call from Ron and Mary Jo Walton. We were on the same caravan to Alaska in 2008 and have gotten together every year as they come down to Florida with their camper for 6 weeks. Will this year they came down without the camper and for only two weeks. So they want to know if it was ok for them to come and see us this evening. We had a great time catching up as they also had a new grand baby in their family so there was a lot of picture showing and telling stories about grand babies. They left around 6:30 pm as they had a ways to go for their motel. We watched a few shows we had recorded and called it a night.
