I left the house at 7:45 am headed to Tampa for a doctor’s appointment. I never know how the traffic is going to be so I like to leave early. My lab appointment was for 9:00 am and got there for it at 8:30 am and only had to wait a couple of minutes. Then I headed for my doctor appointment which was in the same building and was there at 8:55 am for a 10:00 am appointment so I settled in with a book to read. Well within 15 minutes I was called into the doctor’s office. After talking with the doctor he wanted me to go back to the lab for another blood draw and wait an hour and then come back to his office. After the lab I settled in at the waiting room to wait out the hour to see the doctor. Well in a short time my phone rang and it was the doctor want me to come to his office. For the last two years I have been having a problem with my blood platelets going up and down. Well this morning the person that did the blood testing noticed that by blood was lumping in their testing tube which was causing an erratic test. Long story short there hasn’t been any problem with my blood platelets. When I got home Cheri was busy in her sewing room and said that she had run out of a couple of colors of thread and wants to go to Jo-Ann Fabrics. I told her I needed to get the new thermostat working before we could go. I was on the phone for over an hour and a half trying to get the new thermostat working, they finally gave up and said that I would have to get one of their preferred electricians to come and hook it up. Not wanting to spend any money I went back to work on it myself and within an hour I had it working. While I was working on that Cheri started working on the taxes. By the time all was said and done we were too tired to go to Lakeland.
