Cheri and I both had a good day. Cheri was busy most of the day in her sewing room working on a new quilt project. I headed up to Dade City this morning to pick up two badly damaged and broken drawers from the church kitchen. I volunteered to build new ones. So that was how I spent my day. I did have to make a trip to Lowe’s to get some lumber and drawer hardware. I got the drawers cut out except for the bottoms. I worked until 4:00 pm and then was ready for a nice hot shower as I was really dusty from all the cutting. While I took my shower Cheri started fixing a new recipe that Darren had fixed for us when we were up there working. It was really good and later in the evening we had fresh strawberry shortcake while watching TV. It was a perfect day that God made.
