Gay Aug-11-18

It was a good day and got
a lot of things done. Cheri and I were at the Donut Hole before 7:00 am. We had
finished our breakfast sandwich and cinnamon roll and was on our second cup of
coffee when Mike and Pam came in. We had a good visit with them telling us how
things are going with their new house. They were interested in Larry and Denise’s
couch and love seat that they want to sell so we took them over to look at it.
I had to hustle around as I had an appointment at 9:30 am over in Tampa Bay
country to do an install of a new toilet water valve and wax ring. Then outside
to install a new main water shutoff. Then next to check out an electrical
project of installing a new outlet for a deep freeze. My last stop was to hang
a new light fixture outside the front door entry which was 14 feet high. I
managed to get my extension ladder inside and then by turning around backwards
on the ladder I was able to remove the old fixture and install the new one. I
was back home by 3:30 pm. So it was another Saturday that I really didn’t want
to work but was behind and needed to get caught up. After my shower I headed
for the recliner for an hour nap before supper. Cheri headed out the first
thing after I left to do some shopping and a trip to Wal-Mart. She also did
more work on the prayer quilt. I feel like fall is just around the corner as I
was able to watch some of the Green Bay Packer preseason football game. Thank
you God for a blessed day.
