I didn’t get as much done today as I thought I would. I am still working on the bathroom project and will be for some time. I was working on getting the water installed to the shower which should have taking a couple of hours. I had to make a trip to Lowe’s this morning to get supply lines for the shower faucet. While hooking up the water I realized two of the supply lines were too short so it was back to Lowe’s for two longer lines. Things went well until I turned on the water as the front of the faucet came apart and had water all over. When I had bought the faucet set the box had been opened and there were only two sets and both had been opened. After checking them out it looked like everything was there. Well it turned out that the retaining ring was missing which holds the faucet cartridge in place. So back to Lowe’s and they now had a couple of new boxes that hadn’t been opened and bought one of them for the parts. After a few more minor problems I got the water hooked up. After all of this it was 2:30 pm. I decided to go and see about the glass for the shower wall. Not real happy about what I found out. They won’t come out and measure until the tile is installed which I can understand but after they do measure it will be three to four weeks for the install. Which all of this means I won’t be able to have the project done before Bob and Donna return for the winter. Cheri was busy with laundry and Thursday house work. I think she also spent some time in her sewing room. This evening we met Mike and Pam at Culver’s for supper and then went with them to look at another house. It is a very nice home and I think the best one so far that we have looked at. I couldn’t see where any work had to be done. They plan on putting in an offer on it. It was 7:30 pm when we got home to settle in and watch some TV before calling it a night. It started raining around 9:00 pm and continued with a light rain all night. Thank you God for a blessed day.
