Sharp's Travels

We were in no hurry to get going this morning as we had no plans for anything. We did make a trip to Augusta this forenoon. I was planning on taking the motorcycle but rain was predicted for the day so we took the truck. We took the toll road and the rate for cars is $1.00 and thought it would be about $1.50 for our truck, wrong, it cost us $2.50. We made a stop at Lowe’s so I could pick up a few things to do the air horns install when they come in. I plan on using the horn button to blow the air horns or the standard horn. Also when I shut off the truck only the standard horn will work. I had to go to Radio Shack to get the relay I needed. We also stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up a few groceries. We were back to the 5th wheel by 12:30 pm. After lunch I went to get some fresh sweet corn at the local farm stand. We had some last Sunday for the picnic and it was the best. Will we had it for supper and this batch wasn’t as good as what we had Sunday. This afternoon we sat down to do some reading and we both ended up napping. I woke up before Cheri and went outside and saw Sandy out with her cat, so I went over and visited with her. A little later Cheri came out with her craft and quilt books. The girls went inside to check out the books and I went back to the truck and started to lay out the installation of the air horns. After looking things over I decided I didn’t want to start anything this late in the day. When Cheri got back I told her to put on her walking shoes. We took a long walk which we both needed. It’s been a long time since we have done our morning and or evening walk. We watched some TV and called it a night.
