We were up before 4:00 am this morning. At 5:00 am we headed into Lewiston to the LA Balloon Fest. They were going to have a sun rise balloon lift off. But because of the fog it didn’t happen. They did fill four balloons and had them tethered. The Remax balloon did lift off and went up about 40 feet and then settled back to the ground. After taking several pictures we left to go and have some breakfast. We stopped at a Duncan Donuts and had their breakfast sandwich, not very good but the donuts were great. Then it was off to Wal-Mart to get groceries. We were back to the campground by 9:30 am. I did computer work and Cheri did laundry. Late afternoon we went for a walk around the campground, our first walk here in the campground. The campground is very rustic and nice. This evening Cheri and I played Five Crown and I won two of the three games. Then we played the 10,000 Dice Game and I won two of the three games. Then we played Cribbage and Cheri won both games and in fact she skunked me the first game. It seems she always wins at Cribbage. Around 6:00 pm we had a bad storm come through, there was also a tornado warning for the area as there had been three tornados spotted in the state. We heard a loud lighting strike close by that knocked the power out. A little later we saw the ambulance outside. A woman at the campsite across the road got hit by the lighting. She had just grabbed the car door handle when the lighting struck. The rescue squad person said she had some bad burns but wasn’t life threatening. A couple of hours later we got our power back on. That was enough excitement for one day. I have uploaded pictures of the balloon feast, see album Lewiston-Auburn (LA) Balloon Feast.

Do to the storm last night there is no telephone service or internet service in the campground this morning. I use their high speed internet service to upload pictures. As soon as we get service I will upload the pictures.
