Gay Feb-23-10

Wow we got to run the air conditioner this afternoon! After the fog burned off it was a wonderful day with a high of 75 degrees. Larry and Denise stopped by this morning to see the quilts Cheri made. They are now headed farther south for a couple of weeks. Cheri put together some of her baked beans for the Wisconsin Pot Luck here in the park at noon. At 10:30 am we headed down to Ken & Eileen’s to see how Ken was doing and met Roger with the golf cart taking garbage up to the dumpster. We had a short visit with him and decided to wait until after the pot luck to see Ken. We had a good time at the pot luck. We had a lot of good food and then played some progressive bingo, also had a white elephant action. Cheri won a door prize. Delores stopped over after the pot luck to see Cheri’s quilts. Then we went down to see Ken. He is still in a lot of pain and the medication only takes away some of the pain. When we got home Cheri took an old towel and made a pouch to hold ice packs on Kens shoulder. We took that down so Ken could use it right away, also took down an ice pack we had.
