Sharp's Travels

I got up at 4:00 am to watch the Space Shuttle lift off. As you know it was cancelled so I went back to bed only to lay there for half an hour and couldn’t go back to sleep so I got up and worked on my blog and watched some TV. We picked up Grandma and Ed & Lorraine at 9:15 am to go to church. After church we had a date to meet Larry & Denise at Wal-Mart in Dade City at 11:30 am. We were about 20 minutes late as church was late getting out. We picked up Larry & Denise and headed for the Pioneer Village Museum for the quilt show. Larry and I look at the quilts for a little while and then we went to see the old time saw mill cutting logs into boards. When Cheri and Denise got done we drove down town to the quilt store. After an extended shopping time we went across the street for an early supper at the Beef O Brady’s. Later we dropped Larry and Denise off at their motor home and said our goodbyes. We got home around 4:30 pm and settled in for an evening of TV when the telephone rang and Paul called to ask us up to play dominos this evening. So at 6:30 pm it was domino time. We had day of partly sunshine and was windy with a high of 59 degrees.
