It was raining early this morning.  I heard the fishermen of our group leave in the rain to catch their boat that was scheduled to take them out fishing.  What a cold, wet trip that will be.

We didn’t get around to early.  Today is the last day of our caravan.  We were feeling sad that we’d be leaving all our new friends.

Gay was busy running off CD’s for everyone with all the pictures he took on our trip.  I worked on getting the laundry caught up and rounded up all our tail gunner equipment to give back to Spike.  I also needed to get my dish to pass ready for the pot luck tonight.

Two of our group left for Soldotna to fish from the banks of the Kenai River.  They came back with 7 fish.  They were so excited.  The boat crew didn’t fare so well, they only caught one, but have decided to try their luck tomorrow in Soldotna.

The tables were set and the gang began to gather.  Everyone talked about how much they enjoyed their trip.  The meal was great and the poems & skits were really neat.

Spike gave us road updates for our trip home.  Lots of the group is making plans to be at the reunion in Florida Feb. 8 & 9th.  It will be great to get together again.

God blessed us with another unbelievable trip to Alaska and a chance to meet so many great, new friends.
