Our journey began late this morning.  Gay was up at his usual 6am, but I didn’t wake up until 8:15am.  It was late for me.  It was only 28 degrees this morning.  No wonder I stayed all snuggled in!

We were on the road by 9:30am and right away Gay spotted a fox running across the road.  I caught a glimpse of him as we drove by.

The colors are still fabulous.  We had beautiful scenery everywhere.  The mountains looked like they had more snow on them.

We arrived in Tok around 1:30pm.  We parked at the Visitors Center and Gay got on the computer and began uploading the pictures and blog from yesterday.  I hopped out and went to the nearest gift shop!

We had a quick lunch and then stopped at the gas station to top off the tanks and “Off We Go”.

I kept snapping pictures as we traveled down the road.  We met very few cars.  It was like we had the road to ourselves.

We made another stop to top of the gas again just before we crossed the border into Canada at Beaver Creek around 4:30pm.

About halfway between Beaver Creek & Destination Bay, Gay spotted a bear going down into the ditch.  It was a Grizzly with her 2 black cubs.  They walked right along the tree line at the side of the road.  We stopped and got some pictures before they trotted off into the woods.

We never thought we’d be seeing more bears, we were looking for moose.

We finally pulled into a wayside by a lake at 8pm.  It was just beautiful. What a view we have from our front window.   We traveled 364 miles today.  We’d say 200 miles at 20 to 35mph, 100miles at 35mph and the rest at 50mph.  It was another one of those ROADS!  We should be used to them by now.
