We stayed at a Wal-Mart in Monticello MN. When we went in to find out if we could stay the night we stopped at the Subway shop and had a sandwich for supper. We both had a hard time getting to sleep as it was a 24 hour Wal-Mart and there were a lot of traffic coming and going, at times we thought we were in the middle of a race track. It was another cold and windy morning. As we traveled the temp did get up to 54 degrees. We pulled into Stevens Point at 1:30 pm to have a late lunch and only 25 miles to go to get to Greg and Jeanene Peterson’s. We try to spend a night or two every year with Greg and Jeanene, old friends from our Gold Wing days. Jeanene fixed us a wonderful dinner. The rest of the day was spent visiting and catching up. We don’t have any internet service to up load the blog so it will have to wait.
