Gay Aug-21-16

I was up before 5:00 am this morning which means I was
the first one up. Any one in their right mind would still be sleeping, guess
that doesn’t say much for me. Breakfast today was a pretty much a repeat of
yesterday. After a little rain shower Cos, Cece, Darren, and I took the dogs to
the park to give them some exercise which we all needed. There were a lot of
people out walking with dogs. It was a busy place. The trail we took was around
1 ½ miles loop through the woods and around different playing fields. It was
around 11:00 am when we got back to the house. Then it was time for the girls
to go for a pedicure which were birthday presents from Darren and Brooke.
Darren stayed home with Wyatt and Cos and I went to Home Depot to get an O ring
for the rocking basinet and some repair parts to fix a couple of kitchen
chairs. Cos and I also stopped at Publix’s to get some groceries we needed for
the day. It was a little past 1:00 pm when Cos and I got back. The NSCAR race
that was postponed last night do to a rain out was going to be on at 1:00 pm
today. So when I checked the TV it was still in a rain delay and didn’t get
started until around 3:00 pm. So I went ahead and fixed the rocking basinet
with the o ring from a faucet repair kit we got at Home Depot. We got more rain
this afternoon and was on and off most of the day. Cos and Darren were able to
do the grilling between the rain showers. We had chicken and beef fajitas along
with bean dip, Pico de Gallo, and guacamole for supper. The bean dip, Pico de Gallo,
and guacamole was made from Nikki’s recipes with the help of Cheri. So we had a
great homemade Mexican meal for supper and I know I eat too much.
