Gay Aug-29-16

Today wasn’t one of my better days. I worked on
installing the pre hung closet door this morning. It was a project that shouldn’t
have taking more than an hour but thing just didn’t go right for me and took
about three hours to get it in. I also took down a piece of crown molding that
I tried to patch. I thought it would be all right after it was painted but wasn’t
up to my standards. So while Cheri was doing the painting on the door frame I
was going to spray paint the door but it was too windy. I looked over at the
neighbors and saw that one of her screens had fallen off the house. So I went
over to reinstall it but all the corners had deteriorated from the sun and
needed new replacement parts. So I check with her and she did have some
replacement parts so I was able to get the screen repaired and reinstalled.
Then I made a trip to Home depot to see about getting a piece of crown molding
that would be close to what we already have. I only needed a piece three feet
long and couldn’t find anyone to cut it for me. I looked for a person to help
me and could find anyone. I finally went to the front of the store and found
several of them visiting (I wasn’t happy). After I got my piece of molding I
had a talk with the manager but don’t think it did any good but made me feel
better. I also made a stop at Lowe’s to get another LED light bulb for the
kitchen, yes another one burned out. That makes three out of the seven in a year’s
time. There was only one on the shelf and it was one that had been returned.
Once again I had to go find someone to get a box of them down for me. When I
got home Cheri was getting ready to put on another coat of paint. I was done
for the day as I was afraid to doing anything else. It was one of those days
that God was trying my patients and looking back I probably could have done
better.
