I was out before 7:00 am to work on weeding around the neighbor’s house. I needed to get it done before it got too hot. So breakfast was a little later this morning. After breakfast Cheri went right to work on painting the new closet which took her most of the day as she put on two coats of paint with a short break in between the two coats. I did some clean up in the shop and made a shelf for the closet. After lunch I settled in to watch the Green Bay Packers preseason football game that I had recorded as the game was on the west coast and didn’t start until 10:00 pm last night which was too late for me to stay up. I also watch the NASCAR race along with a nap during the race. Around 4:00 pm we got a hard rain but only lasted about 45 minutes. After supper it was another evening of TV.
