I had an eye appointment at the VA in Tampa at 11:00 am. I had left the house at 9:45 am because you never know what the traffic is going to be like. I was checked in by 10:40 am hoping that I would get in early. Well at 11:45 am I was still waiting. So I went up to check and was told I was next and got in at 12:15 pm. When I said something to the nurse she said that I hadn’t been checked in. So the guy I checked in with when I arrived never did it. From the eye clinic I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up the eye drops I need before my eye surgery on the 18th. It was after 2:00 pm when I finally got home. I had a sandwich and then went next door to work on removing baseboard and vinyl flooring that the carpeting had been place over. I quit at 4:00 pm and headed to the shower. Cheri did her Monday house work and then spent time in her sewing room. Said that things didn’t go well for her. Cheri made a new recipe of chicken gravy to have over biscuits and was very good. We settled in for the evening watching a movie before I watched the NASCAR race. Yes we did get more rain today but only ¼ inch here but rained really hard while I was in Tampa. Thank you God for guiding us through another day.
