I had gotten a call from the doctor and wanted me to go in for a blood draw. So this morning I went over around 7:30 am and was told that the lab wasn’t going to be open until 10:00 am as everyone was in training class. So I went back at 10:30 am and was told I didn’t have an appointment. But with a little explaining they got me in. After lunch I had an appointment to check out a bathroom water leak. I was told that the water was shut off at the street. So I headed out to turn on the water and the city had turned it off and locked it. So I can’t do anything until they get the city back to unlock it. The rest of the afternoon was spent on the computer and making a couple of work calls to tell them I have delayed with some health issues. Cheri was busy with the laundry this morning. She was able to spend some time in her sewing room. Later in the day our neighbor jean came over for a visit. Cheri made us stuffed pork chops for supper, very good. The evening was spent watching some movies we had recorded. We were both tired and headed to bed early this evening. Around 9:30 pm we had a hard rain come through, it didn’t last real long but did get a little over ½ inch. Thank you God for a blessed day.
