I met Cookie this morning at 8:30 am at Lowe’s to pick out the kitchen cabinets for the Sunday school kitchen. They are on order and should be here in a week. Cookie paid a little extra to have them delivered which made me happy. After that was done I came home and loaded the truck with tools and went to Tampa Bay country to change an air filter for Bob Conover and then to another place to check out an electrical outlet that wasn’t working. Tuned out that the top half of the outlet was controlled by a light switch and the bottom was hot all the time. Something that she never knew. I also need to get some parts for her shower. I was home for a late lunch with Cheri. She had taken Grandma for her doctor’s appointment and now has a list of things she needs from Wal-Mart. After lunch I made a trip to Lowe’s to get some materials and then to Harbor Fright for some staples and tarps. When I got home I decided it was too late in the day to start another project. It felt good to relax for a while before we headed out to pick up Art and Ruby and take them to Wesley Chapel for dinner at Chuy’s Mexican Restaurant. We have never been there before and have heard good things about it. We had a very good meal and will defiantly go again. On the way back to Art and Ruby’s we drove through a hard rain and was hard to see to drive. When we got to Art and Ruby’s we had apple pie and ice cream. We had a good visit with them before heading back home. I checked the rain gauge and only received a half of inch of rain for the last two days. So I guess most of the rain missed us. We settled in for an evening of TV as Cheri had recorded a movie that was pretty good. Thank you God for getting us through the day and time spent with friends.

Something I saw while at Lowe's today. Look close and you can see that this loaded on a boat trailer. I think the sheet rock will break before he gets where he is going.
