Cheri May-11-11

We were awake and up early this morning. We were on the road by 9am.
Getting through Little Rock was easier than we thought. We got onto HWY 65 and were tooling right along and the truck started loosing power. We were just crawling along. This has happened before so we knew just what was going on. The fuel filter plugs up due to contaminated fuel. We carry spares just in case. We were lucky enough to just be going by a hardware store with a great big parking lot. We pulled in and Gay lifted the hood and began putting on a new filter. He had that job done in about ½ hour and off we went. Gay is one of those guys that can do everything. I am a lucky gal!
The countryside is beautiful; we loved all the curves and hills (motorcycle country).
We arrived at our campground in Bull Shoals at 1:30pm. We got set up, Gay checked the truck, and we had some supper and took a walk down to the lake.
Tomorrow we will head over to see our friends and spend the day with them.
For pictures of the day click here http://picasaweb.google.com/sharpstravels and then click on the album you want to look at. The new album today is Problems, Mountains, and Crooked Roads.
