It was a very busy day for us as it is our last day in Zephyrhills for the season. I had an eye appointment this morning in Tampa and everything was OK and don’t have to go back for six months. On the way home I stopped and filled up Grandma’s van with gas. Cheri spent most of the day doing laundry and finished up putting things away that we will not be using while traveling. After I got home I took the truck back over to Wal-Mart to fill it up. I had a Wal-Mart card that I put $450 on for fuel and that wasn’t enough to fill it up. I probably could have put in another $50. I did get the diesel for $3.949 which is pretty good because every other place I checked was around $4.15. After lunch I got the patio mat put away, washed Grandma’s van which was a job as it had a lot of love bugs to get off, started the grill and grilled up some chicken and brats to have later in the week. By the time we got all of our work done it was 3:30 pm. I took another shower and got ready to go and say good bye to Ed and Loraine as they are leaving Sunday. Then up to Grandma’s to spend some time with her. Carol came just as we arrived and we had a nice visit before it was time for us to head over to Wesley Chapel to meet Mike & Pam and Ron & Sandy for dinner at the Bone Fish restaurant. We have eaten there before and the food is very good. The service was good but the problem was in the kitchen tonight. Pam didn’t get served what was on the menu, Cheri’s fish looked good but when she turned it over it was burnt black. Sandy’s meal came after the rest of us were about half done eating. Long story short Ron had a talk with the manager and she did everything to make sure we got what we were suppose to have and then she said there would be no charge for our dinner and also told us to have a free desert. Of course we all really needed the desert. After dinner we headed outside to say our good byes. It is hard to say good bye to really close friends.
