It was an early morning as this was D-day (Depart). It took us quite a while to get things closed up and stuff put away. We pulled the 5th wheel over by Grandma’s and said our goodbyes. It was 11:00 am before we got on the road. Good weather and not too hot, even a little overcast which makes for nice driving. We drove 274 miles and are at Beaver Lake Campground in Quincy, FL it is just off of I-10 at exit 174. We got a great collection of love bugs all over the front of the truck and 5th wheel. I hope we have some dew tonight to help loosen them up so I can get them off in the morning. We will spend one night here. As we travel we don’t see very many Excel 5th wheels will when we pulled into the campground there was only on 5th wheel and it was an Excel. It is the same model that we use to have with the kitchen in the back with two doors. We have been trying to get in touch with friends that we want to stop and see tomorrow. But there seems to be something wrong with their phone line. Either we get an all equipment busy signal or it rings and no answer. We will try again in the morning and then decide what to do.
