We were on the road by 9:15 am, would have been sooner but had to wait for the campground office to open so we could pay for the extra day (Sunday). We drove 330 miles today and are staying in Opelousas, Louisiana at the city park for $10.00 a night. We have water and 50 amps electric. After we got set up we went over to Wal-Mart that was only a mile away. They had a Subway in side of Wal-Mart so that is where we had our supper. I put $450.00 on the gift card for fuel and then went over to the station and put $403.00 in diesel at $3.849 which is the cheapest we have seen diesel since we left Florida. We headed back to the 5th wheel and arrived at 5:45 pm. Now we have the rest of the night to relax and for Cheri it is Dancing with the Stars. We did see some very high water when we crossed the Mississippi River on interstate 10 and some of the other back waters along I-10. I have added some pictures of our last campground and high water on the Mississippi.
