I left early this morning and headed over to Wal-Mart to have the oil and filter changed in Grandma’s van. There was only one person in front of me and they were almost done with him. So I got to do my shopping while the van was being done. I needed a couple of container for packing some more things that we are leaving here and wiper blades for the truck. When I got home I picked up Cheri and we went to the post office to mail a package to Cheri’s girl friend Pat in Maine. Then we made a stop at the auto part store to pick up a couple of light bulbs for the stairway night light, one more stop at the Chevy dealer to get a quart of transmission fluid for the truck. They didn’t have the synthetic fluid and tied to sell me something that wasn’t synthetic and said that was what they put in all the Allison transmissions. I said no thanks and left. When we got home Cheri went over to Grandma’s to wash down Grandma’s bathroom and all the walls. I moved the truck into the shade and did the waxing and put the new wiper blades on. Cheri got back just as I was finishing up the truck. We were both tired and hot from working. So we went to Chili’s for a late lunch. Then we went to Wal-Mart to pick up groceries and drop off prescriptions for Grandma. By the time we got everything done and back home it was near 4:00 pm. Cheri and decided we both had enough for the day.
