This was a laid back day for us; we only had 3miles to travel to get to our friends (Dave and MaryAnn Hassenbach) house. MaryAnn was waiting for us when we got there and Dave was at a car club meeting. We had a nice visit with MaryAnn while we waited for Dave to get home. Then we headed into Mountain Home to eat lunch at the Elks club. Then we made a stop at the meat market on the way home to pick up some Rib eye steaks. When we got back to Dave and MaryAnn’s place Dave show us his Corvette, very pretty 2004 red coupe with a six speed. Then it was time for me to wash the truck which was very dirty from driving in and out of the campground in Elberta on the 1mile gravel road with we did six different times. Dave fired up the grill and cooked the Rib eye steaks which were excellent. There was a severe thunder storm warning out for the area so a little after 8:00 pm we headed back to the 5th wheel. It started to rain just before we got back. We had a little wind and not much rain. When I looked at the radar it looked like the worsted part of the storm went north of us, which was fine with us. This morning we stopped by the Bull Shoals dam visitor’s center and took some pictures of the lake and dam that I have included here.
